Services and Fees

The Statutory fees for the Land Registry services supplied by Land Registry Direct are set out in the current Land Registration Fee Order.

Fees will automatically be debited to your credit account. The charges that accrue during each user session will be displayed on your terminal.

Important

Customers will be responsible for their own telephone line rental, installation and call charges.

Users of Land Registry Direct should also note that although automatic time controls have been installed, it will be prudent to ensure that they log off/exit from the service as soon as requirements have been met.

Register View

A fee of £2.00 is charged for each register displayed (whether acessed by title number or property description). There is no charge for enquiries which only serve to establish that the title has not yet been computerised. Printing the screen contents does not attract additional fees.

Title Plan View

A fee of £2.00 is charged for each title plan displayed. Printing the screen contents does not attract additional charges.

Document View

A fee of £2.00 is charged for each document displayed. Printing the screen contents does not attract additional charges.

Official Copies (Title Number Known)

Requests for Official Copies are charged at the same rate as for postal and telephone applications, ie.

Electronic delivery:

  • copy of the register £2.00
  • copy of the title plan £2.00

Postal delivery:

  • copy of the register £4.00
  • copy of the title plan £4.00
  • certificate of inspection of the title plan £4.00
  • copy of a set of documents referred to in the register £4.00

Official Copy (Title Unknown)

For the time being no fee is charged for supplying the title number unless more than ten title numbers are revealed in the result. Where more than 10 titles are revealed, the fee is £4.00 for each title in excess of 10. Additionally there is a fee of £4.00 for each official copy provided. No fee is debited at the time of delivery, but your credit account will be debited with the appropriate amount once the application has been processed.

Official Search of Whole with priority and Matrimonial Home Rights Search

A fee of £2.00 is charged for each search submitted.

Search of the Index Map

For the time being, no fee is charged for a Search of the Index Map unless more than 10 title numbers are revealed in the result. Where more than 10 titles are revealed, the fee is £4.00 for each title in excess of 10. In such a case the customer’s credit account will be debited with the relevant amount once the application has been processed.

Day List Enquiry

No Fee .

Electronic Notification of Discharge (END) Enquiry

No fee.

Outline Application

A fee of £2.00 is charged for each application submitted.

Changes to the register

No fee.

Land Charges Applications

The statutory fees for Land Charges applications are set out in the current Land Charges Fees Rules.

Full or Bankruptcy Search £2.00 for each name searched.

Office copy £1.00 for each office copy.

Other transaction types may be added from time to time.
